CONNECTION CALLS
Connection Calls is a relational support program created to serve individuals who are isolated due to disability, chronic illness, or barriers to community connection. Through this program, Hands in Service pairs each client with a volunteer who connects with them by phone on a regular basis—offering encouragement, conversation, and consistent human connection.

Each call is an opportunity to build trust, combat loneliness, and remind someone they are not forgotten. Over time, what starts as a check-in often grows into a genuine relationship. Whether it’s a chat about life, a shared laugh, or just the comfort of a familiar voice, these calls are a small but powerful way of bringing light to someone’s week.

If you or someone you know could benefit from Connection Calls, click on Participant Application below to complete the form. Once we receive your application, our Field Coordinator will reach out to learn more about your needs and match you with a volunteer.
